Sorry, we have no idea about the material you mentioned.
Normally, the metal cover or housing used in magnetic assembly is A3 steel.
Can we make a quotation in A3 steel?
A3 Steel:
I talked to our technicians and we were discussing if there could be some more problems arising if we change to A3 steel because A3 material isn't magnetic. The end product is a plate which consists of 2 plates that are held together by magnetic retention force. The magnet and the housing are installed in one part and on the other side there is a steel part (nickel-coated because rust is definitely unwanted). At the moment it seems like the housing is concentrating the magnetic retention force so it is absolutely necessary that the magnetic retention force (of the parts you are going to offer) is the same as now.
That is why I am sending the sample - I hope you understand what I want to tell you.
Can you explain to me how you could produce the housing or housing including the magnet?
