Grades consist of English letters and Arabic numerals. Letters represent coercive force of products and numerals stand for maximum energy products. Based on basic grades, sometimes T or L will be added to the grade, and T represents derived grades.
According to strength of coercive force of sintered neodymium permanent magnet products, products can be classified into normal coercive force (N), medium coercive force (M), high coercive force (H), super high coercive force (SH), ultra high coercive force (UH), extremely high coercive force (EH) and advanced high (AH).
Application of Magnets with Various Performances
1. N (N35-N52 Grades)
Hcj≥12kOe or ≥11kOe
Corresponding maximum temperature is 80°C or 60°C.
Classic applications: magnetic resonances, loudspeaker boxes, mobile vibrating rings, magnetic separators, light burners, magnetic buttons and low-end sensors.
2. M (30M-50M Grades)
Hcj≥14kOe or ≥13kOe
Corresponding maximum temperature is 100°C or 80°C.
Classic applications: linear permanent magnet motors, CD-ROM motors, loudspeakers, mobile vibrating rings and low-end sensors.
3. H (30H-48H Grades)
Hcj≥17kOe or ≥16kOe
Corresponding maximum temperature is 120°C or 110°C.
Classic applications: VCM, motors of electric cars with two wheels or three wheels, high-end loudspeaker box, Pick-up, servo (industrial) motors, EPS, washing machines and linear motors.
4. SH（30SH-45SH Grades） Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB)
Hcj≥20kOe or ≥19kOe Corresponding maximum temperature is 150°C or 130°C.
Classic applications: most industrial motors, wind turbines, EPS, ABS, sensors and fridge compressors.
5. UH（28UH-40UH Grades）
Hcj≥25kOe或≥24kOe
Corresponding maximum working temperature is 180°C or 160°C.
Classic applications: car engines, tractors, servo motors, wind turbines, ABS, sensors and air conditioner compressors.
6. EH（28EH-38EH Grades）
Hcj≥30kOe or ≥28kOe
Corresponding maximum temperature is 200°C or 180°C.
Classic applications: hybrid EV/HEV, wind turbines, ABS, sensors and military highly-stable motors.
7. AH（28AH-33AH Grades）
Hcj≥34kOe或≥33kOe
Corresponding maximum temperature is 220°C or 200°C.
Classic application: hybrid HEV, sensors and military highly-stable motors.
