Ferrite magnets are non-metallic magnetic materials. It is made and sintered by ferric oxide and one or more of following other metal oxides (such as: nickel oxide, zinc oxide, manganese oxide, magnesium oxide, oxide barium and strontium oxide, etc.) . Its relative permeability can be up to several thousand, the resistivity is 1000 times of that of metal. It is quite suitable for making high frequency electromagnetic devices owing to its small eddy current loss. Ferrite magnet can be divided in five classes as hard ferrite magnet, soft ferrite magnet, torque ferrite, gyro-magnet and piezo-magnet. The production process and appearance of ferrite permanent magnets is similar to ceramic, so it is called as ceramic magnets. Ferrite is a combination of iron and one or several other appropriate composite oxide of metal elements. Its property belongs to the semiconductor, usually applied as a magnetic medium. Electric conductivity is the most important difference between ferrite permanent magnetic materials and metal or alloy magnetic materials.

Note:
Permanent ferrite magnet is a kind of fragile products, please be careful when magnet attract with or separate from other components, otherwise it may cause magnet broken or hurt fingers. Please push magnets horizontally when magnets are inseparable, do not to hard pry or pull them.
